Description

Client Solution Architects (CSA) is currently seeking a Network SME to support a program onsite* at Portsmouth, VA.

The Network SME will assist in assessing various network technologies, and determining impacts of network infrastructure changes. Must Have a solid understanding of network development concepts and installation of network systems. Candidate should have the ability to quickly learn new technologies and to turn general principles into concrete implementations.


For nearly 50 years, CSA has delivered integrated technology and operational support services to meet the defense and federal sector's most complex enterprise needs. Working from operations centers and shipyards to training sites and program offices, CSA deploys experienced teams, innovative tools and proven processes to advance federal missions.  


*Onsite/Hybrid/Remote work schedules subject to change based on contract requirements.


 How Role will make an impact:

  • Assess device configurations and troubleshoot network systems.
  • Technically review engineering products that will be issued to the waterfront and/or government.
  • Rapidly troubleshoot waterfront issues and help drive resolutions to completion.
  • Maintain knowledge of governing requirements to ensure deliverables stay in compliance.
  • Mentor and train less experienced teammates.
  • Prior direct experience with network technologies (Layer 3 switches, firewalls, etc.) and networking protocols and concepts such as OSPF, routing protocols, and port security.
  • Direct experience configuring Cisco, Juniper, or Alcatel devices
  • Direct experience with tools such as Wireshark, Net Management solutions and logging solutions

Requirements

What you'll need to have to join our award-winning team:

  • Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active Secret clearance
  • Five or more years' of experience with either Network Administration or Network System Administration
  • Bachelor's Degree from an ABET accredited program.
