What is an assistant music internship?

Assistant Music Internships are entry-level positions that provide hands-on experience in the music industry, often supporting professionals in areas like production, management, marketing, or event coordination. Interns typically assist with administrative tasks, research, scheduling, and sometimes technical duties such as helping with audio equipment or studio sessions. These internships are designed to help individuals learn about the industry, build professional connections, and gain practical skills that can lead to future employment opportunities.

What kinds of tasks and responsibilities can I expect as an assistant music intern?

As an Assistant Music Intern, you can expect to be involved in a variety of tasks that support the music department or production team. These may include assisting with organizing sheet music, helping set up for rehearsals or recording sessions, managing schedules, and coordinating with artists or other interns. You might also be asked to help with social media, research music trends, or provide administrative support. The environment is typically collaborative and fast-paced, giving you valuable exposure to multiple aspects of the music industry.
