Position Summary

As a Mortgage Loan Originator, you will assist borrowers throughout the refinance and mortgage lending process, with a strong focus on VA and FHA loan transactions. This is a fast-paced, high-volume sales role that requires excellent communication skills, relationship-building abilities, and the drive to convert inbound leads into funded loans. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth loan process from application to closing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Educate borrowers on refinance options for Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loan products
  • Convert inbound and transferred leads into completed loan applications
  • Build rapport with borrowers and guide them toward achieving their financial goals
  • Make 30-120 daily outbound and inbound contacts through calls, texts, and emails using CRM systems and company scripts
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management and timely follow-up communication
  • Partner with processing and closing teams to ensure efficient loan completion

Basic Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple borrower pipelines effectively
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume, phone-based sales environment
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Basic proficiency with CRM platforms, Microsoft Office, or Google Workspace

Required Qualifications

  • Previous Mortgage Loan Officer (LO) experience required
  • General mortgage and loan product knowledge required
  • Must have passed the National NMLS Licensing Exam
  • Active NMLS license preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of inside sales, mortgage sales, or call center experience
  • Experience with VA, FHA, USDA, and Conventional loan programs preferred
