Who you are:

As a Mortgage Processor II, you are our key support. You will be responsible for assisting borrowers, title companies and lending teams to efficiently collect documentation and provide complete loan file for underwriting evaluations and closing. You'll be responsible for analyzing complex incomes to determine financial standing of potential clients. More than that, this role is about building relationships and doing so with integrity, caring, and excellence in mind.

What you'll do :

  • Independently follow the process of large and complex mortgage loans from application through preparation to ensure quality service throughout the mortgage origination process
  • Maintain contact with borrowers, title companies and lending teams to efficiently collect documentation and to provide a complete loan file for underwriting evaluations and closings
  • Address mortgage processing issues and obtain clarifications as needed to ensure loan file is fully documented prior to underwriting
  • Act as a liaison between the clients, underwriters, and organizational staff to ensure effective communication throughout multiple departments
  • Assist with training of new and incoming Mortgage Processor I's to maintain quality work within the Mortgage department
  • Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes

What you'll need:

  • 2+ years of real estate processing experience
  • Strong customer service and pipeline management skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of basic mortgage lending regulatory guidelines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft computer application

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with Empower LOS or Blend applications
  • Experience with Desktop Underwriting (DU) or AUS
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish preferred)
  • Real estate title work experience
  • Knowledge of legal documents related to consumer real estate
