Description

MVP Holdings is a privately owned energy logistics company headquartered in Wichita, KS. MVP and its subsidiaries provide gathering, transportation, processing, storage, distribution, marketing and other midstream services to independent oil and natural gas producers, refiners of petroleum and products and other market participants located throughout the United states.  


We are currently looking for an Administrative Assistant in Wichita, KS. The Administrative Assistant manages the daily front office operations and provides exceptional customer service, administrative, and clerical support to maintain an organized, efficient, and welcoming office environment. 


Essential Functions

Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner, offer beverages, and direct them to the appropriate location.

Answer and direct incoming phone calls, relay messages, and transfer calls and voicemails to the appropriate staff.

Assist with acquiring vehicle tags and processing vehicle title paperwork.

Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, faxes, and deliveries.

Process, document, and coordinate outgoing shipments to ensure timely delivery and compliance with carrier requirements.

Coordinate, order, and assist with the setup and clean up of catered meals and lunches for meetings, training sessions, and company events as needed.

Organize and coordinate office events and employee celebrations.

Monitor office supply inventory and order supplies as needed.

Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and stocking of office areas.

Coordinate office maintenance requests with the property manager and follow up as needed.


Other Functions

Complete other duties and responsibilities as reasonably assigned by management.

Assist with errands as needed.

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Proficiency in operating standard office equipment, including multi-function copiers, scanners, printers, and telephone systems.

Ability to use internet-based applications and online resources to perform job duties.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to complete work accurately and efficiently.

Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Requirements


Education, Certifications, License

Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.

Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an insurable motor vehicle record (MVR).


Work Experience

3-5 years of administrative, receptionist, office support, or customer service experience in a professional office environment preferred.


Physical Requirements

Ability to perform primarily sedentary work, including prolonged periods of sitting, computer use, and repetitive hand and finger movements, with occasional standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and filing.

Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 pounds to stock office supplies, beverages, and other office materials.


Travel

Local travel within the surrounding area (approximately 5-10%) is required to complete business-related errands and support office operations.
