Job description

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Information Assurance Engineer to join our team in Crane, Indiana. This is an onsite position. As a core member, you will assist in the research & design, engineering, integration, testing, training, logistics, laboratory research, field engineering, and acquisition and operations analysis in support of a variety of Navy and Marine Corps programs and projects with a focus on defensive cyber technologies, mission assurance, and resilience capabilities for the tactical network environment. Your effort will go towards dramatically increasing the warfighter's effectiveness. If you enjoy working on a highly collaborative and dynamic team and want to make a difference for the warfighter, then we would love to have you on our team! Responsibilities include but not limited to: * Establishes and satisfies complex system-wide information security requirements based upon the analysis of user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands
* Supports customers at the highest levels in the development and implementation of doctrine and policies
* Applies expertise to government and commercial common user systems, as well as to dedicated special purpose systems requiring specialized security features and procedures
* Examples could include command and control-related network
* Provide technical support in investigating and minimizing real or potential damage resulting from security incidents
* Research, analyze, integrate, and distribute IS security tools and associated documentation, subject to government review and approval
* Provide on-site assistance for integrating IS security tools into contractor and Government information systems
* Develop and propose security procedures for systems and software within area of expertise to ensure consistent security policy implementation for review and approval by the Government Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in any discipline, or a High School Diploma and 11+ years of relevant experience, or an Associate's Degree and 8+ years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of Bachelor's degree
* 5+ years of experience in Information Engineering, Security or a related field
* Experience in computer systems, networks, and security principles
* Experience presenting technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences
* Experience analyzing security risks and vulnerabilities Preferred Qualifications: * Master's Degree
* Experience utilizing assessment tools (e.g., ACAS, SCAP, HBSS) and RMF process tools (e.g., MCCAST, eMASS, eArcher, VRAM and DITPR-DON/DADMS) preferred
* Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) training with current baseline certifications such as: CompTia, Sec+, CISSP, or equivalent Clearance Requirements: * Must have a current or active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain up to a TS/SCI clearance Physical Requirements: * The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
* Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations
