Are you a detail-oriented and creative individual with a passion for retail, e-commerce, and sports? The Sherman Shadowcats are seeking a dynamic Merchandise & E-Commerce Intern to join our team. This exciting internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the business operations of a professional sports team, contributing to our merchandise strategy and online fan experience.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inventory of existing merchandise stock, ensuring accurate records and organization.
  • Analyze historical merchandise sales data (e.g., 2026 season) to identify trends, best-selling items, slow-moving products, and opportunities for growth.
  • Assist in the research and development of new merchandise concepts and product lines for the upcoming 2027 season, considering fan preferences and market trends.
  • Support the planning and execution of seasonal merchandise campaigns, including the holiday season, from concept to promotion.
  • Assist with the day-to-day management and maintenance of the team's official online store, including product listings, inventory updates, and order fulfillment support.
  • Research potential merchandise vendors, compare pricing, evaluate product quality, and assist in supplier relationship management.
  • Contribute to strategies aimed at enhancing the online shopping experience and increasing e-commerce sales.
  • Provide administrative support to the merchandise department as needed, including preparing reports and presentations.
Qualifications
