Assistant Coach - Bowling

Job Summary:

The Assistant Bowling Coach assists the Head Coach in the total administration and coordination of both the Men's and Women's Bowling program.

Job Description:

Coaching and Training:
  • Assisting with practice sessions, including organizing drills and teaching skills.

  • Providing individual and group instruction to players.

  • Developing and implementing training programs.

Game Day Support:
  • Assisting with game strategy and preparation.

  • Providing support during games, including issuing instructions and advice to players.

  • Analyzing game performance and providing feedback to the head coach.

Recruiting and Team Management:
  • Assisting with recruiting efforts, including scouting potential players and contacting them.

  • Supporting athletes' academic and personal development.

  • Managing equipment and supplies.

Administrative Tasks:
  • Recording statistics and data.

  • Communicating with parents and other stakeholders.

  • Scheduling games and travel arrangements.

Other Duties:
  • Maintaining knowledge of the sport and coaching techniques.

  • Ensuring compliance with all team, league, and institution rules.
