This position is contingent upon contract award.

Hatalom Corporation is seeking a Research Assistant to support Marine Corps University (MCU) and Education Command (EDCOM). This position provides research and analytical support for academic and organizational initiatives by collecting and analyzing data, conducting literature reviews, supporting research design, and preparing reports and presentations that inform decision-making. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support research projects by gathering, organizing, and analyzing data from primary and secondary sources.
  • Conduct literature reviews toidentifyrelevant studies, articles, and publications related to ongoing research.
  • Assistin the development of research proposals, including the preparation of background information andmethodologysections.
  • Manage data entry and ensure the accuracy and integrity of data collected throughout the research process.
  • Prepare summaries and reports based on research findings, presenting data in clear and accessible formats.
  • Coordinate with research team members to organize and schedule meetings, interviews, and data collection activities.
  • Maintain detailed records of research activities, including notes, data sources, and methodologies used.
  • Assistwith statistical analysis using software tools to interpret data and generate insights asrequired.
  • Support the preparation of visual materials, such as charts, graphs, and presentations, to communicate research findings.
  • Assistin preparing research manuscripts, abstracts, and conference materials for publication and presentation.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical standards and confidentiality requirements related to research data and activities.
  • Conduct regular reviews of research project timelines and milestones, providing updates to projectleadsas necessary.
  • Maintain an organized digital and physical filing system for research documents, data, and resources.
  • Assistin developing research instruments, such as surveys and interview guides, to support data collection.
  • Stay informed of recent developments in the field to contribute relevant knowledge to research projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Sciences, Business, Statistics, Public Administration, Political Science, or a related field.
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience supporting research, data analysis, or program evaluation.
  • Strong analytical, research, and technical writing skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to organize and analyze quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Active Secret (Tier 3) Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Department of Defense, Federal Government, or higher education research programs.
  • Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R, or similar).
  • Familiarity with survey development, data visualization, and research methodologies.
