Job description

PacSci EMC, a Ralliant company and leader in aerospace and defense manufacturing, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support production operations and continuous improvement efforts at our Chandler, Arizona facility. This role provides broad exposure to manufacturing engineering, tooling development, process optimization, automation initiatives, and cross-functional problem solving while helping drive the next phase of our business growth.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Assist Manufacturing Engineers with establishing lean manufacturing principles within production cells.
โ€ข Work with production associates to identify and correct issues with process documentation.
โ€ข Modify, edit, and update manufacturing procedures and perform document change activities.
โ€ข Generate purchase and fabrication requests for production tooling and equipment.
โ€ข Collect, analyze, and report production process data.
โ€ข Generate and manage engineering work orders.
โ€ข Assist with the design and implementation of tooling and process improvement projects.
โ€ข Support engineering analyses including PFMEA, process hazard analysis, root cause investigations, and corrective actions.
โ€ข Execute and summarize engineering studies and experiments, including coordination of engineering and pre-production builds.
โ€ข Support production readiness reviews and project kickoff activities.
โ€ข Provide production floor support by identifying manufacturing issues and implementing process improvements.
โ€ข Support Sales Order Kickoff (SOKO) activities by verifying tooling readiness, calibration status, and manufacturing documentation.
โ€ข Maintain manufacturing parameter databases and ensure production requirements are accurately reflected within manufacturing processes.
โ€ข Collaborate daily with Production, Quality, Program Management, Planning, Document Control, and Manufacturing Engineering teams.
โ€ข Capture and document tribal knowledge from experienced production personnel to improve manufacturing procedures, standard work, and training effectiveness.
โ€ข Support manufacturing automation initiatives through data collection, process analysis, and collaboration with automation engineering resources.
โ€ข Support production areas that do not have dedicated Manufacturing Engineering resources when required.
โ€ข Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
โ€ข 2-3 years of related manufacturing, engineering, or production support experience.
โ€ข Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
โ€ข Experience supporting manufacturing operations and production environments.
โ€ข Exposure to Lean Manufacturing principles, Root Cause Analysis, Fishbone Analysis, PFMEA, DOE, and Continuous Improvement methodologies preferred.
โ€ข Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions.
Education & Experience
โ€ข High school diploma or equivalent required.
โ€ข Two-year technical degree preferred.
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred.

Pay Range
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 53600.00-99400.00
