Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Retail QA Tester in Quincy, MA.
Responsibilities:
* Retail QA Tester will develop and execute test cases across functional, integration, regression, UAT, and smoke testing
* Validate POS workflows including sales, returns, promotions, loyalty, payments, and inventory lookup
* Perform end-to-end testing across POS, ecommerce, merchandising, and customer systems
* Build and maintain regression test suites for release cycles
* Log and track defects with clear documentation; Partner with development teams through resolution
* As a Retail QA Tester, you will support Agile processes (sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives)
* Ensure compliance with QA standards and regulatory requirements (PCI, SOX)
* Coordinate with business users for UAT and production validation
* Assist with production issue triage and verification of fixes
* Identify opportunities to improve QA processes and testing efficiency
* Perform onsite testing for store hardware and retail operations validation
REQUIREMENTS:
* Hands-on experience testing retail POS systems (Oracle Retail preferred)
* Experience testing POS hardware (scanners, printers, payment terminals, cash drawers, pin pads)
* Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (Jira, Zephyr or similar)
* Experience working in Agile environments and cross-functional teams
* Strong understanding of retail business processes and system integrations
* Familiarity with Oracle Retail applications such as Xstore POS and Customer Engagement is a plus
* Ability to execute manual testing with some exposure to automation
* Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and documentation skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
