Job description

Assist Transport Services, a division of Assist Logistics Group, LLCis hiring CDL A LocalDry Van Drivers in Bensenville, IL. This position offers a unique opportunity to work for an established logistics company where you'll complete deliveries consisting of local pickup and delivery, local drop & hook, and airport transferswithin a 100 mile radius of O'Hare Airport. Compensation:

  • $25 to $30 per hour with anywhere between 40-55 hours per week
    • Overtime pay after 40 hours accumulated in a consecutive five day period are paid at time and a half
    • Employee Referral Bonus: $500 paid in 1 installment after 6-months of employment
    • Annual Holiday Bonus based on Performance
  • Paid via direct deposit bi-weekly

Home Time, Route & Schedule:

  • Home Time: Home daily!
  • Schedule: Second shift 2:00pm - 10:30pm, days of the week vary
  • Route: 100miles around O'Hare Airport
  • Level of Touch: Mainly Drop & Hook - No touch Freight

Equipment:

  • Late-Model Trucks: International and FreightlinerDay Cabs
  • Automatic & Manual trucks available
    • Drivers must know how to drive a Manual!
  • Tablet with route optimizationsoftware equipped in all trucks

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 22 years of age
  • Must have CDL A license (Illinois)
  • Must have a minimum of 1 yearverifiable tractor-trailer driving experience with a clean driving record within last12 months
  • 0 minimum DUI/DWIs in last 5 years
  • Hazmat endorsement is not required but is a strong plus
  • Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
  • Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen and random drug screenings
  • Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 20 miles of Bensenville, IL
