Job Title: Procurement Assistant Manager/ Assistant Sourcing Manager

Location: Jonesboro, AR

About the Role:


***, for the Dr. Squatch brand is seeking an Assistant Sourcing Manager – Procurement to support a critical insourcing initiative at our Jonesboro, Arkansas facility. This role serves as the primary procurement link between our supplier base, the Jonesboro planning and operations teams, and the DRSQ Sourcing organization. The ideal candidate will own supplier onboarding, contract and pricing management, purchase order execution, and procurement escalations, ensuring materials and vendor readiness to keep production running smoothly.


This role will report to the Senior Sourcing Manager, Raw Materials.


What You’ll Do:


Create and issue Purchase Orders for raw materials and packaging, ensuring accuracy in quantities, pricing, and delivery dates


Own supplier communications related to purchase orders, delivery schedules, material availability, and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders


Support supplier negotiations, including pricing, payment terms, lead times, and supply continuity planning


Lead supplier onboarding activities, including vendor setup, documentation collection, and coordination with Jonesborough and Dr. Squatch teams


Track sourcing activities, supplier onboarding, and procurement milestones to support successful project execution and launch readiness.


Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier information, and material data across all relevant systems.


Support ongoing procurement operations and supplier management activities following project launch and transition to steady-state operations.


About You:


Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or a related field


Proven experience in supplier negotiations (pricing, payment terms, and lead times)


Experience working directly with suppliers and executing purchase orders is required


Comfort working in ERP systems; ICAT, SAP, or Velocity preferred


Strong supplier management and cross-functional communication skills


Ability to manage multiple workstreams (onboarding, contracts, escalations) simultaneously in a fast-paced environment


Experience in the consumer products industry is highly preferred


Interest in health and wellness, personal care, and/or eCommerce industries


Someone who gets things done without perfect resources, is innovative, and works with a sense of urgency


Someone who has high standards, takes ownership, and is invested in the outcome


Someone who proactively helps others, stays positive, and has a good sense of humor


3+ years’ experience in Procurement or similar roles
