About the Role

As the Electrical Service Manager, you will oversee the daily operations, performance, and growth of our Electrical Department. This leadership position is responsible for supervising electrical technicians, driving department profitability, developing processes, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.

The ideal candidate combines strong electrical expertise with the leadership skills needed to motivate teams, improve performance, and help scale a successful service department.

What You'll DoDepartment Leadership & Growth
  • Lead, train, mentor, and develop a team of electricians and electrical technicians.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Help build and expand the Electrical Department to support company growth.
Operations Management
  • Oversee all day-to-day operations of the Electrical Department.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve company goals and revenue targets.
  • Supervise electrical projects and ensure work is completed efficiently and to company standards.
Business Development & Performance
  • Develop and refine service pricing, truck stock inventory, department offerings, and operational processes.
  • Establish and track key performance metrics to drive department success.
  • Review reports, analyze performance data, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage department profitability and understand key financial metrics, including P&L performance.
Customer Service & Sales Leadership
  • Resolve customer concerns and ensure exceptional service experiences.
  • Coach, train, and support electricians in sales opportunities and customer communication.
  • Assist in developing large project estimates and sales proposals.
  • Support technicians and customers in quoting major electrical projects.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
  • Oversee permits, inspections, and code compliance requirements.
  • Ensure all electrical work is completed safely and meets applicable regulations and standards.
  • Maintain quality control and consistency across all projects.
What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of residential electrical management or superintendent experience.
  • Licensed Journeyman Electrician preferred but not required.
  • Proven experience leading, coaching, and developing electrical teams.
  • Strong business acumen with experience managing P&L, reporting, performance metrics, and departmental operations.
  • Ability to generate leads, drive revenue growth, and support sales performance.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Strong computer proficiency and experience working with business software systems.
  • Positive attitude, high energy, and a results-oriented mindset.
  • A passion for growing both people and business performance.
Compensation & Benefits
  • $90,000 - $110,000 annually (DOE)

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position approximately 50% of the time.
