Senior Management Accountant โ€“ Cleveland, OH

NRP Group is a fullโ€‘service multifamily developer, general contractor and property manager with operations nationwide. We are seeking a Senior Management Accountant to manage accounting and financial functions for a portfolio of multiโ€‘family properties.

Responsibilities
  • Transition accounting functions of projects under construction into property management.
  • Post monthly journal entries and accruals.
  • Perform GL account analysis and cash management.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports.
  • Complete monthโ€‘end closings and reconcile bank statements.
  • Assist in yearโ€‘end audits and ad hoc projects.
  • Communicate with site managers.
  • Assist in training and mentoring of Management Accountants.
Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred).
  • 3โ€“5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in public accounting.
  • Proficient in Excel; knowledge of Yardi software is a plus.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license.
