Well established oil company currently has an opening for the position of accountant in the Talladega area. This position reports directly to the controller and is instrumental in providing accurate financial data to assist management in making informed business decisions.

Requirements:

·         B.S. Degree in Accounting

·         Two years of experience in the accounting field

·         Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

·         Strong analytical skills, self-motivated, & capable of working on own initiative and multi-tasking

·         General knowledge of accounting software

Job Responsibilities:

·         Bank Reconciliation

·         Inventory Reconciliation and Analysis

·         Monthly General Ledger Journal Entries

·         Preparation of Monthly and Year End Financial Statements

·         Preparation of monthly spreadsheets for financial analysis

·         Balance Sheet Reconciliations

·         Payroll

·         Purchase Orders

·         Price-book Management

·         Rebate Tracking and Maintenance
