Dream Industrial REIT is looking for Lease Documentation Coordinator!

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Coordinator, Lease Documentation.

Who are you?

The coordinator will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient processing of lease and legal documentation, tracking of lease and legal agreements, and managing databases related to lease and legal documents. The successful candidate will work closely with the legal and leasing departments to ensure timely processing and management of documents, as well as communicating with internal stakeholders to ensure lease-related data accuracy.

What will you do?

Below are some of the primary responsibilities you will be taking on in this role. There will be more, but we can discuss those in person.

  • Prepare initial drafts of lease documents using standard landlord templates;
  • Process and track documentation from inception through execution, including lease agreements, amendments, renewals, terminations, offers to lease and other documentation required by the Lease Documentation, Leasing, and Property Management teams;
  • Coordinate the circulation of documents for review, approval, and signature;
  • Review lease documents to ensure completeness and accuracy;
  • Maintain organized electronic records and ensure all documentation is properly filed and tracked;
  • Provide administrative and documentation support to the Leasing and Lease Documentation teams; and
  • Assist with preparing summaries, reports, and lease abstracts as required.

  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working as a legal assistant, lease administrator, or in a documentation/legal support role within a REIT, landlord, brokerage, or related real estate environment.
  • An assertive self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple documents and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
