Job Title:         Laboratory Technician
Client:              Food Manufacturing Company
Duration:         4 Months
Location:         Indianapolis, IN 46222

Shift:                Saturday & Sunday – 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM OR 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Role Overview
• Perform laboratory testing to support food safety and product quality
• Conduct analysis on in-process and finished products
• Maintain laboratory equipment, records, and safety standards

Responsibilities
• Perform routine food safety and quality testing on products
• Conduct laboratory analysis and record results in databases
• Communicate testing results verbally and in written reports
• Monitor, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments
• Follow laboratory safety procedures and participate in safety meetings
• Assist with laboratory trials and experiments under supervision
• Evaluate and interpret test data and identify abnormal results
• Maintain laboratory inventory and order supplies when needed
• Handle technical and administrative tasks with minimal supervision
• Escalate complex testing or quality issues when required

Must Have
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years of related laboratory experience
• Knowledge of laboratory instrumentation
• Familiarity with ISO 17025 standards
• Ability to work weekend shifts
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
