Fair Winds Logistics is a Veteran-Owned and Operated delivery company looking for motivated, hardworking individuals to join our team as Delivery Driver Helpers.
In this role, you will ride along with an experienced driver to assist with the safe and efficient delivery of oversized and extra-large packages directly to customers' doors. No prior delivery experience? No problem - we provide paid training and everything you need to hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities - Delivery Driver Helper (Non CDL)
As a Delivery Helper, you will work side-by-side with a delivery driver to ensure every package reaches its destination safely and on time. Your day-to-day will include:
  • Report to our warehouse location each morning for shift loadout and package preparation
  • Assist the delivery driver with loading and unloading oversized and extra-large packages from a DOT-regulated delivery vehicle (16-26 ft.)
  • Follow your navigated delivery route, ensuring all packages are delivered accurately and on schedule
  • Load and unload the delivery vehicle with care, following proper lifting and safety techniques
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections alongside the driver
  • Communicate with dispatch to provide real-time delivery status updates
  • Interact with customers and the public in a professional, courteous manner - representing Fair Winds Logistics with pride
  • Support the driver in maintaining the vehicle and ensuring all deliveries are completed efficiently
  • Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment on the road and at the warehouse
  • End each shift back at the warehouse for post-route check-in and vehicle return
Qualifications
Delivery Driver Helper Requirements - Non CDL
We are looking for dependable team players who are ready to work hard and grow with us. Requirements for this Non CDL Delivery Driver Helper role include:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age (required per DOT regulations for this vehicle class)
  • Must pass a 5-panel drug screen; random testing also required
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to work well within a team and follow directions
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset
  • Ability to operate a smartphone and GPS navigation
  • Previous experience in delivery, logistics, or warehouse operations is a plus - but not required
  • Physically able to:
    • Lift up to 70 lbs. independently, or up to 300 lbs. with team lift assistance
    • Climb multiple flights of stairs while handling large packages
    • Walk up to 6 miles per day
  • English proficiency required
