Dental Associates of Hampton Cove is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join our supportive and close-knit team. Led by Dr. Kristen Bentley, who has proudly served the community for over 6 years, our practice is built on strong patient relationships and delivering high-quality, compassionate care.

Schedule:
  • Monday & Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Tuesday & Thursday: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • Fridays: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (2 per month)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
  • Assist the dentist with procedures including fillings, crowns, bridges, implants, root canals, extractions, and Invisalign
  • Take dental X-rays and perform iTero scans
  • Fabricate quality temporaries
  • Sterilize and disinfect instruments per OSHA standards
  • Record patient histories and update charts
  • Provide post-operative and oral hygiene instructions
  • Support scheduling and light front office duties as needed
  • Maintain inventory and ensure operatories are stocked
  • Ensure patient comfort throughout their visit

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of dental assisting experience
  • Ability to take high-quality radiographs
  • Experience assisting with a variety of procedures
  • Strong reliability and teamwork mindset
  • Passion for patient care and dentistry

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Dentrix experience
  • Dental Assistant certification
  • Experience with digital imaging and impressions
  • Strong attention to detail and infection control practices
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
