Inventory Control Specialist

Pay: $20.00 per hour
Location: Claremore, OK 74017
Shift: 2nd Shift | Starting at 4:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to support inventory accuracy and material flow within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for tracking, organizing, and maintaining inventory records to ensure efficient operations and support production requirements.

The ideal Inventory Control Specialist has strong organizational skills, experience working with inventory systems, and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Required Experience & Skills

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous inventory, warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Basic computer skills required
• Experience with inventory management systems or ERP software preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data entry
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic REQUIRED

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry and system updates
• Track incoming and outgoing materials, components, and finished goods
• Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
• Coordinate with purchasing, production, shipping, and receiving departments
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages, overages, or potential issues
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of inventory throughout the facility
• Prepare inventory reports and supporting documentation as required
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Assist with additional inventory and warehouse functions as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of inventory control procedures and cycle counting methods
• ERP or warehouse management system experience
• Forklift experience or certification
• Understanding of shipping, receiving, and material flow processes

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift
• Ability to move and organize inventory materials safely
• Comfortable working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment for extended periods
