Job Title: Purchasing & Inventory Assistant
Compensation: $18-22 per hour
Job Type: Full-time (onsite)
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
(12:30 PM to 1:30 PM unpaid lunch break)
Location: Dallas Office, TX 75243

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing & Inventory Assistant to manage PO follow-up, logistics coordination, and order receiving for the parts department. This role focuses on execution, vendor communication, shipment tracking, and inventory accuracy to ensure timely parts availability and smooth warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Track purchase orders from issuance to delivery; follow up with suppliers on production schedules and delays; and maintain accurate PO status updates.
  • Monitor inbound shipments, manage ETAs, identify risks or delays, and coordinate with vendors, freight forwarders, and internal teams.
  • Verify received goods against purchase orders and invoices, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely and accurate inventory updates in the system.
  • Coordinate with China-based suppliers on pricing, lead times, and delivery timelines to support on-time PO fulfillment.
  • Leverage strong Excel skills to organize, consolidate, and maintain accurate data, supporting ongoing data management and reporting needs.

Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analysis, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Experience in purchasing, inventory management, supply chain, or operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly with inventory, customer service, and shipping teams.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin.
  • Experience in automotive, powersports, EV, or mechanical products.
  • Experience communicating with overseas suppliers.
  • Experience reading service manuals and wiring diagrams.
