Interventional Radiology Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team in Evanston, IL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interventional radiology, particularly with neuro procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in various interventional radiology procedures, including thrombectomies, pulmonary embolism treatments, uterine fibroid embolization (UFE), and Y-90 procedures.
  • Scrub in and collaborate with interventional radiology physicians during complex procedures.
  • Participate in on-call duties for neuro and interventional radiology emergencies.
Work Schedule

This position requires full-time availability, with a flexible schedule that may include 8-hour or 10-hour shifts. Weekend work is not typical, except for on-call requirements.

On-call Requirements
  • On-call for neuro procedures with a 30-minute callback time.
  • On-call for interventional radiology cases with a 45-minute callback time.
  • Required to cover one weekend (Friday through Sunday) and serve as a third person for varied additional weekend days.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology, with travel experience preferred.
  • Neuro experience is highly desirable.
  • Must possess a valid Illinois IEMA license.
  • Certifications: BLS and ARRT are required.
Orientation

Orientation can be scheduled any day during the week, with a preference for Mondays.
