Job description

Sales Trainer
The Sales Trainer is responsible for assisting in the overall training and development of Sales Development Associates (SDA) and Account Managers with a focus on new hire training. This position works with SDAs and Account Managers to discover and understand the after warranty needs of prospects and customers, assists in the creation of compelling hardware maintenance proposals designed to successfully close business and achieve customer satisfaction, serve as a technical resource for SDAs on conference calls, and help SDAs with account acquisition, revenue generation, and long-term account goals. his role also assists in curriculum development, assesses the SDA's skills effectiveness, identifies areas for training reinforcement, and facilitates training and coaching sessions.
What you'll be doing:
  • Provide introductory conference/discovery call/quote review/closing call support.
  • Coach on closing the loop after discovery calls.
  • Listen to and audit prospecting calls.
  • Participate in and facilitate ongoing BDA sales training.
  • Assist in weekly personnel reviews.
  • Remain up to date with current technologies, competitive landscape, and industry influencers.
  • Stay current with the company's training objectives and BDA on-boarding goals.
  • Design, create, and assist in final BDA mock evaluations.
  • Review and approve overflow BDA quote requests to ensure opportunities are fully qualified.
  • Provide one on one support with BDAs to reinforce training from sales process to technical matters.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for:
  • 2 years of sales and/or sales management experience, preferably in a Business-to-Business or I.T. environment.
  • Evidence of strong written and verbal communications skills.
