Fire Systems Inc, an Altus Fire & Life Safety Company, located in Dartmouth, MA is looking for a Sprinkler Inspector to join our team!

Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections and functional tests of fire sprinkler systems, including control panels, initiating devices, notification appliances, and auxiliary equipment.
  • Perform troubleshooting and minor repairs to ensure systems are operational.
  • Accurately complete inspection reports, documenting findings, deficiencies, and recommendations in compliance with NFPA standards and local regulations.
  • Provide customers with clear explanations of inspection results and corrective actions needed.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of NFPA codes, manufacturer requirements, and company procedures.
  • Collaborate with service teams to address and resolve system issues identified during inspections.
  • Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are maintained and properly stored.
  • Assist in maintaining customer satisfaction by providing professional and courteous service.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and practices.
Required Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in electronics, fire protection, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience inspecting, maintaining, or installing fire sprinkler systems.
  • Licensed Journeymen in Rhode Island and Massachusetts
  • Back Flow Testing Certification
  • Knowledge of NFPA 25 and local fire codes.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency in using inspection tools and devices.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer-focused with a professional demeanor.
