Fire Systems Inc, part of the Altus Fire & Life Safey family of companies, located in Dartmouth, MA is looking for a Fire Alarm Inspector to join our team!

The Compensation range for this role is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections and functional tests of fire sprinkler systems, including control panels, initiating devices, notification appliances, and auxiliary equipment.
  • Perform troubleshooting and minor repairs to ensure systems are operational.
  • Accurately complete inspection reports, documenting findings, deficiencies, and recommendations in compliance with NFPA standards and local regulations.
  • Provide customers with clear explanations of inspection results and corrective actions needed.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of NFPA codes, manufacturer requirements, and company procedures.
  • Collaborate with service teams to address and resolve system issues identified during inspections.
  • Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are maintained and properly stored.
  • Assist in maintaining customer satisfaction by providing professional and courteous service.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and practices.
Required Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2+ years experience inspecting, maintaining, or installing fire sprinkler systems.
  • Valid Fire Alarm license in Massachusetts and Rhode Island preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, follow directions and meet deadlines.
  • Must be flexible with working hours and be willing to be part of an on-call rotation.
  • Report to assigned job site location on time, as directed.
  • Maintain and properly store tools, materials, and equipment.
