FamCare Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our Cardiology Clinic located in Arlington, Virginia. This full-time, onsite position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 140,000 to 180,000 annually, depending on experience. Located in the vibrant city of Arlington, Virginia, our Cardiology Clinic offers a supportive work environment that fosters collaboration among healthcare professionals. Working Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, you will have the opportunity to engage with patients directly while also collaborating with referring physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Our facility is designed to enhance patient care and to support continual professional development for our staff.

• Conduct thorough patient assessments through comprehensive physical examinations and medical history evaluations.

• Order, collect, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic tests to accurately assess patients’ health concerns.

• Formulate and implement patient-centered treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based practices and collaborating with physicians.

• Prescribe and manage medical therapies, ensuring that interventions align with approved protocols, while educating patients on the use and potential side effects of medications.

• Maintain precise patient records, documenting treatment plans and outcomes, and facilitating timely referrals to specialists when necessary.

• Perform invasive procedures as permitted within the scope of practice and as delegated by supervising physicians.

• Provide consultation services for various clinical conditions, adapting care to meet the unique needs of each patient.

• Engage in ongoing communication and support for patients and their families regarding health management and wellness strategies.

• Support healthcare delivery outside primary care settings, including managing patients in inpatient and emergency service environments.

As a Physician Assistant at FamCare Center, you will provide care to a diverse patient population, with a particular focus on cardiology. You will address a broad spectrum of cardiac conditions, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance health outcomes for patients ranging from routine checks to complex cardiology cases.

• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.

• Must possess valid licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant in the state of Virginia.

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a clinical setting, preferably in cardiology or a similar specialty.

• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) are preferred.

• Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment with strong interpersonal skills.

• Demonstrated proficiency in interpreting diagnostic tests and formulating actionable treatment plans.

• Experience in patient education and counseling regarding health promotion and disease prevention strategies.
