As a Physician Assistant at our surgical center, you will engage in a fast-paced and supportive onsite environment. You will work a standard 40-hour week, Monday through Friday, concluding at 5:00 PM, promoting work-life balance while ensuring that you contribute to a high-quality healthcare experience. Here, you'll collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including a team of 5 MDs and 5 NPs, sharing knowledge and strategies to optimize patient care.

In your role as Physician Assistant, you will be entrusted with a variety of critical responsibilities, including:

• Conducting comprehensive physical examinations and reviewing patients' medical histories to assess overall health and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Ordering, interpreting, and analyzing diagnostic tests such as blood work and imaging studies to inform clinical decision-making.
• Diagnosing acute and chronic health conditions and devising individualized treatment strategies.
• Prescribing medications and managing patient medication regimens to effectively address their health issues.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation to comply with healthcare regulations and ensure continuity of care.
• Providing health education to patients and their families on symptoms, medications, and preventative health practices.
• Collaborating with team members to promote holistic patient wellness and implement best practices in clinical care.
• Engaging in ongoing education and research activities to advance your clinical skills and knowledge within the field.

• Current Physician Assistant license valid in Oregon, with PA-C certification.
• DEA registration is mandatory for prescribing controlled substances.
• Previous experience in primary care or a surgical setting, demonstrating a solid foundation in clinical practice.
• Extensive knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance.
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• A strong ethical framework guiding interactions with patients and colleagues.
• The ability to work well within a team and communicate positively in a busy clinical environment.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
