Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the established plan of care
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional independence and safety
  • Communicate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Recommend and/or provide appropriate treatment equipment and adaptive devices as needed
  • Educate patients and caregivers on strategies to support independence and safety at home
Qualifications
  • Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Active Florida COTA license
  • Two years of clinical experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
