Work Environment

This position is situated onsite at our Surgical Center, where we provide a range of cardiology services to a diverse patient population. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured work-life balance. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough physical and mental evaluations through comprehensive or focused histories, assessing patient conditions effectively.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results to determine patient needs and devise appropriate treatment plans.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies or perform procedures aligned with approved protocols, with a focus on patient safety and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to formulate and implement comprehensive, outcomes-based treatment strategies for patients.
  • Counsel patients and their families on health conditions, medication management, nutrition, and preventive care, ensuring they are well-informed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting treatment plans and outcomes while initiating referrals when necessary.
  • Support patient management across various healthcare settings beyond primary clinics, including inpatient and procedural services.
  • Execute specialty-specific invasive procedures under the delegation of supervising physicians, ensuring adherence to protocols.
  • Adapt to the department's needs, which may require working beyond scheduled hours to ensure optimal patient care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physician Assistant in our Cardiology Clinic, you will care for a diverse patient population ranging from young adults to the elderly, many of whom present with complex cardiovascular conditions. Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
