Work Environment

This role is performed onsite at our Bridgeport hospital facility, which is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and resources to support your practice. Working in a collaborative environment, you will engage with a multi-disciplinary team that includes physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, all dedicated to offering optimal patient care. The scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, supporting a balanced professional life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patientsโ€™ physical and mental health by performing detailed physical examinations and gathering comprehensive medical histories.
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests, diagnostic imaging, and other evaluations to inform patient management and treatment strategies.
  • Prescribe medications and therapeutic treatments, ensuring adherence to evidence-based protocols and patient safety standards.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians and healthcare teams, continually assessing the effectiveness of interventions.
  • Provide patient education and counseling regarding management of cardiovascular diseases, including lifestyle modifications, medication adherence, and health promotion strategies.
  • Document patient interactions and treatment plans in EMR systems accurately and timely, facilitating continuity of care.
  • Engage in invasive procedures pertinent to cardiology, collaborating proactively with supervising physicians for elevated patient care.
  • Handle administrative responsibilities related to patient management, including referrals and consultations where necessary.
  • Be adaptable to changes in patient needs, occasionally working beyond regular hours to fulfill department objectives.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The Cardiology Clinic serves a diverse patient population ranging from young adults to the elderly, all presenting various cardiovascular challenges. You will work closely with patients suffering from conditions such as hypertension, coronary artery disease, heart failure, and more. Qualifications
