Job Summary
Griswold Home Care is seeking experienced caregivers to provide compassionate in-home care during evening shifts (4:00 PM-10:00 PM). We are looking for dependable professionals with experience providing personal care, incontinence care, hospice support, and dementia care. If you are passionate about helping seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and incontinence care
  • Provide compassionate care for hospice clients while promoting comfort and dignity
  • Support clients with dementia using patience, redirection, and person-centered care techniques
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
  • Perform light housekeeping related to client care
  • Monitor client safety and report changes in condition to the office
  • Follow individualized care plans and document services accurately
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related healthcare role
  • Experience with personal care and incontinence care required
  • Hospice and dementia care experience preferred
  • Availability to work evening shifts (4:00 PM-10:00 PM)
  • Reliable, dependable, and professional
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Smartphone required for scheduling and communication
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • COVID-19 vaccination preferred
  • Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
