You will work alongside a collaborative team of healthcare professionals, including Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists, all aimed at creating a supportive environment that prioritizes patient recovery. Our facility is equipped with advanced rehabilitation technologies and therapy modalities designed to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Physical Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans that focus on improving patient mobility, strength, and functional abilities.
  • Guide patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities designed to promote physical well-being and alleviate pain.
  • Educate patients on proper body mechanics, effective exercise techniques, and the implementation of home exercise programs to support their recovery efforts.
  • Administer therapeutic modalities, including electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
  • Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, tracking key metrics such as range of motion, strength improvements, and overall functional capabilities.
  • Prepare treatment areas and organize necessary supplies and equipment to ensure a seamless therapeutic process during sessions.
  • Foster an encouraging and motivating atmosphere, providing emotional support to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
  • Adhere to ethical standards of practice, ensuring patient confidentiality and promoting a respectful healthcare environment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This position will engage with a diverse patient demographic, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological conditions, geriatric populations with mobility challenges, pediatric patients requiring developmental support, and athletes undergoing sports rehabilitation. As a PTA, you will be instrumental in tailoring rehabilitation strategies to meet the unique needs of each patient, fostering their journey toward recovery.

Qualifications
  • Possess an Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Hold a valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic interventions pertinent to physical therapy.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 50,000 to 65,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
