Make a Difference The RN Clinical Supervisor - Ambulatory proactively works towards achieving quality and safety outcomes and assists with overall clinical staff development; serves as a clinical lead and resource to all clinical staff in collaboration with the practice manager including hiring, coaching, training, education, and providing feedback on performance evaluations; ensures retention of talent incorporating proper training and development of low performing staff; collaborates with nursing administration, practice leadership, and other administrative staff to create efficient clinical services, implement process improvements, and assist in quality initiatives; will also assist with rooming patients and triage as needed; adheres to established quality principles and standards established by Community Health Network. This position will cover Gastroenterology and GI clinics in Anderson, Kokomo, Pendleton, and Westfield.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude toward problem-solving.

  • Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
  • 3-years of medical office experience required.
  • 2-years clinical supervision or lead experience preferred.
  • Computer skills for documentation and work-related purposes are required.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Demonstrates customer service skills to provide exceptional patient and family experience.
  • Able to maintain strong internal and patient/staff relations.
  • Accountable and self-directed.
