Hotel Manager – Warwick Seattle

Position Type: Full-Time Permanent

Position Summary

The Hotel Manager is a key member of the executive leadership team at Warwick Seattle and reports directly to the General Manager. The position is responsible for supporting the General Manager in the overall operation, financial performance, guest experience, and service standards of the 231-room full-service hotel.

The ideal candidate will bring strong hotel operational leadership, financial awareness, guest-service expertise, and the ability to coordinate multiple hotel departments. This position provides an opportunity for an experienced hospitality leader to play a significant role in the overall performance, profitability, guest satisfaction, and continued success of the property. A strong and experienced Director of Sales and Marketing may be considered for this opportunity.

The Hotel Manager will serve as a key operational partner to the General Manager and will assume leadership responsibility for hotel operations in the General Manager's absence.

Position Opportunity

The Hotel Manager will work closely with the General Manager and department leaders to ensure the successful operation of the hotel and will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide leadership across the hotel's daily operations.
  • Support overall hotel performance, profitability, and guest satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities to improve occupancy, ADR, service, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships across the hotel and local hospitality community.
  • Work closely with department leaders to maintain high operating standards.
  • Develop managers and build a strong hotel-wide culture.
  • Take a broad leadership role in the operation of a full-service hotel.
  • Help position Warwick Seattle for continued success in the competitive Seattle hotel market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the General Manager in the daily operation and strategic direction of the hotel.
  • Lead and coordinate department heads to ensure seamless hotel operations.
  • Maintain a highly visible leadership presence throughout the property.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and personally handle VIP, repeat guest, and escalated service issues.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, labor management, expense control, and financial performance.
  • Monitor departmental productivity and hold leaders accountable for operational and financial results.
  • Work closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage, Sales, and other hotel departments.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop managers and department leaders.
  • Support recruiting, training, employee engagement, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Review daily hotel performance and identify opportunities to improve service, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Assist the General Manager with corporate initiatives, quality assurance, and special projects.
  • Serve as the senior operational leader when the General Manager is unavailable.

The ideal candidate is an energetic, commercially minded hospitality leader who understands that successful hotel management requires strong operational execution, leadership, financial awareness, and a commitment to service toward both our guests and our staff.

The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader who can work comfortably across hotel operations, guest service, financial performance, and team development while working closely with the General Manager to achieve the hotel's goals. Flexibility in working hours and days will be required to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

  • 5–7+ years of progressive hotel leadership experience.
  • Hotel Manager, Director of Operations, Rooms Division Manager, Director of Sales & Marketing with relevant rooms experience, or comparable leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong operational knowledge of full-service hotel environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams.
  • Strong financial and business acumen.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Passion for hotel operations, guest service, and operational excellence.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and emergency situations when required.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual Salary: $130,000–$140,000, DOE (Depending on Experience)
