Patterns Hiring is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Hebron, Nebraska.

Job Description & Requirements

Must have RN Nebraska State Active License OR Compact License
AHA BLS certification required
CPR, ACLS, TNCC, NRP and STABLE certifications required
Job Description:
Shift: 3*12s Nights (5:00pm - 5:00am) and weekend & holiday rotation
Patient Care
- Provide nursing care and monitor patient conditions.
- Administer and document oral, IM, SQ, and IV medications using barcode scanning.
- Monitor IV sites and flow rates; discontinue IVs as needed.
- Assist with examinations, treatments, procedures, and rehabilitation.
- Provide total patient care in ER, Med/Surg, LDR, and Nursery as assigned.
- Provide care to obstetrical patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum.
- Provide newborn care.
- Record and report changes in patients’ physical and mental conditions.
Documentation & Coordination
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
- Record and transcribe physician orders.
- Assist with nursing care plans and patient education.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow nursing standards, facility policies, and scope of licensure.
- Maintain a current professional nursing license.
- Follow HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements.
- Participate in quality assurance, training, meetings, and educational programs.
Work Environment
- Indoor, smoke-free patient care environment.
- Frequent exposure to biohazardous materials and communicable diseases.
