Your responsibilities include:

  • Assist Kitchen Cooks with preparing menu items according to company recipes
  • Wash, peel, chop, and prepare meats, cheeses, fruits, and vegetables
  • Measure, portion, garnish, plate, package, and serve food
  • Monitor cooking times and assist with food preparation
  • Test food for quality and proper cooking
  • Keep workstations, equipment, and utensils clean and sanitized
  • Take and record food and storage temperatures
  • Help monitor inventory and notify supervisors when supplies need replenishing
  • Record food waste and shrink accurately
  • Package customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Answer phones and assist with customer orders
  • Deliver exceptional customer service every day
  • Promote Italian Centre Shop products and services
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, health and safety, and company procedures
  • Support the team with other duties as required
