This role is ideal for a coach who is ready to take on more ownership, support studio performance, and grow into future leadership.


What You’ll Do

As Assistant Head Coach, you will partner with the Head Coach to support coaching, sales, member experience, studio operations, and team culture. You will coach classes, help lead the Sales Associate team, support intro class conversion, and ensure the studio runs smoothly during your shifts.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Coach a minimum of 10 classes per week 
  • Deliver high-quality Orangetheory classes aligned with brand standards 
  • Support intro class experiences, membership recommendations, and follow-up 
  • Help lead, onboard, and develop Sales Associates 
  • Hold the front-of-house team accountable to daily and weekly goals 
  • Build strong member relationships through recognition, events, and engagement 
  • Support staffing efforts by identifying potential Coaches and Sales Associates 
  • Maintain studio cleanliness, readiness, and operational standards 
  • Assist with class reconciliation, scheduling support, and facility follow-up 
  • Partner with the Head Coach on membership growth, studio culture, and team performance 
What We’re Looking For
  • Current nationally recognized fitness certification from an OTF-approved provider, including ACSM, ACE PT/GFI, NASM, NSCA, or AFAA PT/GFI 
  • Current CPR/AED certification 
  • OTF Coach certification or ability to obtain 
  • 1–2 years of coaching experience in group fitness or a similar environment 
  • Comfortable supporting both coaching and front-desk operations 
  • Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays 
  • Prior leadership, mentoring, scheduling, POS, CRM, or sales experience is a plus

Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to actively demonstrate exercises, coach a 60-minute workout, remain standing and vocal during class, lift up to 40 lbs, and use all standard studio equipment.


Schedule

This is an on-site role. Flexible availability is required, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
