Job description

Nutrihealth is a medical weight loss company focused on improving patient’s overall health through nutrition planning, fitness, behavioral therapy, and pharmacotherapy. Patient’s satisfaction is our top priority. We are seeking a highly motivated and friendly Medical Receptionist to join our Nutrihealth team and help us continue to grow.


Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Welcoming patients and visitors in the office and answering inquiries or referring questions to the appropriate staff member
  • Assists patients with insurance and billing questions
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments for the providers and nutritionists/dieticians
  • Maintaining, filing and updating patient records
  • Collecting copays and payments for prescriptions and gym memberships
  • Verifying insurance and preparing patient forms
  • Providing assistant to Medical Assistant as needed


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in medical administrative support and front desk operations
  • Proficient in managing medical records and patient service
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent clerical and office experience, with a focus on customer service
