DLC is seeking a Controller to join our team in Chicago. Our dedicated full-time consultants assist clients in diverse and challenging projects spanning accounting, finance, financial reporting, FP&A, financial system implementation, process redesign, post-merger integration and/or project management across a wide variety of industries and companies.
DLC is one of Addison Group's five full-time salaried Accounting and Finance bench models, with a diverse Fortune 500 client base, currently operating in five major markets: Los Angeles, Orange County, San Francisco, Chicago, and Philadelphia. DLC utilizes a full-time salaried employment model & hires professionals with Big 4 CPA experience & / OR graduates from one of the top 25 MBA programs. DLC consultants are highly credentialed, best-in-class senior resources suited to the sophisticated needs of our clients under the office of the CFO.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Manage all corporate accounting activities, including the ME close process, preparation of financial statements, internal and external reporting, team management.
  • Private Equity reporting, guidance, modeling, automation
  • Lead the accounting, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting function for all lines of business.
  • Cash flow management
  • Assist with SEC reporting supporting schedules
  • Ensure appropriate revenue recognition and review of contracts.
  • Support pre and post M&A integration of newly acquired businesses
  • Prepare detailed trend analyses to maximize the operational and financial results.
  • Oversee general ledger accounts for multiple divisions, ensuring reconciliations as well as cash applications are completed in a timely manner.
  • Identify and optimize ways to improve processes through automation and standardization
  • Desire to bring best practices to the team, ensuring goals are meet and challenging
  • Lead or assist in ERP Implementation

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting, Finance or related field,
  • CPA license or in process
  • Experience in a Fortune 1000 company required
  • Large ERP experience and proficient in manipulating large data sets in excel
  • Knowledgeable in US GAAP
  • Strong analytical, problem- solving and presentation skills, unwavering attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, proactively looking for new challenges

Compensation for this position ranges from $120,000 - $160,000 and will vary depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The compensation may also include incentive compensation in the form of discretionary bonuses.
