Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following ( other duties may be assigned):

 

  • Must be able to operate a fork truck.
  • Must be able to operate an overhead crane.
  • Experience in inventory management.
  • Uses the prescribed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Count and verify all incoming material matches packing slips.
  • Accurately receives material into NetSuite.
  • Maintains proper inventory by doing periodic cycle counts.
  • Assist production by stocking components where needed.
  • Rotate inventory to use aging inventory first.
  • Keeps shop organized.
  • Creates REQ’s for purchasing.
  • Works independently with minimum Supervision.
  • Works overtime (if needed) to assure production schedule is met and lines are supplied.
  • Follows safety policies and procedures.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education:

High school diploma

Experienced in aspects of fabrication

Experienced in reading micrometers, calipers, and any sort of fabrication measuring Apparatus.

 

 

 

Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

 

 

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to use and convert fractions to decimal ( and vice versa). 

Ability to perform basic mathematical equations that arise during fabrication.

 

 

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

 

Computer Skills:

Ability to use ERP system.

Open drawings from computer

 

 

 

Certificates, licenses, registrations:

Forklift license
