Job description

Purpose and Objective:  

Honeywell International Inc. seeks a Lead Security Field Service Technician at our Honolulu, HI location to install, configure, and support network/software infrastructure for Honeywell Enterprise Buildings Integrator (EBI) Fire, Security, Healthcare Technologies, and Building Automation systems on routine and complex projects.

License/Certification required: Honeywell Third Party Integration Certification.

BASE SALARY: $149,074 per year

Expectations and Tasks: 

Act as primary liaison to client IT departments to define scope, plan integrations, and implement network solutions. Provide IT/network/software consulting and support across project lifecycle, including sales, implementation, and service. Build and maintain secure network infrastructure including routers and firewalls; ensure cybersecurity standards are met. Collaborate with Project and Service Specialists to resolve technical issues during installation and service calls. Assist sales team in proposal development, providing technical designs and advanced recommendations for customized solutions. Execute technical delivery across multiple projects: programming, graphics development, startup, testing, customer training, documentation, and post-installation support. Conduct detailed system audits, custom integrations, and enterprise-level upgrades, act as lead when needed. Identify project risks and collaborate with stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies ensuring timelines and budgets were met. Work closely with Project and Operations Managers to coordinate project activities, assess quality, manage scope changes, and enhance customer satisfaction. Interpret design documents and contracts to determine and execute technical requirements; support estimating and planning efforts. Develop formal submittals including schematics and technical documentation to support implementation tasks. Deliver on-site startup and turnover support; provide advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting for software, hardware, and installation issues. Review and recommend tools and technologies to enhance team productivity and operational efficiency.
