Server

Job Summary: full and part-time positions

Manage the service of members and guest in the dining rooms. Have a keen eye for detail and provides exceptional service to members/guests.

Reports to:

Dining Room Manager, Assistant Manager

Duties:

● Sets up server station and performs assigned opening duties.

● Attends pre-shift meeting.

● Provides immediate attention to all members and guests of Wicker Point Golf Club.

● Working knowledge of all food and beverage items, including daily features and specials.

● Takes member/guest food and drink orders.

● Promptly delivers orders to the kitchen while conveying specific cooking instructions.

● Assists food runner with assembling food on a tray when needed.

● Serves meals, places dishes by course in front of the correct person.

● Timely checks back to ensure member/guest satisfaction; replenish what is needed.

● Removes unnecessary or finished items and dishes.

● Suggests and serves dessert, coffee, and after-dinner drinks.

● Consistently ensures all stations and dining room areas remain neat and clean.

● Advises supervisor of any complaints at the moment they occur.

● Presents the bill to the appropriate member/guest.

● Verifies the correct member’s name and membership number on all checks and prints out check inquiries at the end of the shift.

● Performs closing duties and reports to the MOD (manager on duty) before dismissal.
