Job description

As General Manager, you are the leader of your four walls. The culture, the numbers, the guest experience, and the team. All of it flows through you.

This is not a desk job. You will be on the floor, executing alongside your crew, coaching in real time, and making decisions that keep the store performing at a high level. You own the P&L. You own the schedule. You own the results.

  • Hire, train, develop, and lead a team of 10+ employees
  • Own your labor, food cost, and all store metrics — know your numbers and move them
  • Drive speed, accuracy, and cleanliness standards on every shift.
  • Build a culture where accountability is the expectation, not the exception
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and weekly financials with discipline
  • Develop your assistant managers so they're ready for the next step

Compensation & benefits

  • Base salary : $45,000
  • Annual Bonus potential : Up to 30% : Paid out monthly
  • PTO : 1–3 weeks : Based on tenure
  • Vision, dental, disability, life insurance offered.

The bonus isn't a carrot — it's a real monthly payout tied directly to store performance. Managers who run tight operations earn it consistently.

The Ideal Candidate

We don't have a checklist of degrees or years of experience required. We have a standard. If you've led people, held yourself accountable, and taken real ownership of an operation — we want to talk.

  • You show up every day with the same energy and standard — your team can count on that
  • You hold people accountable, including yourself, without waiting to be told
  • You understand that your attitude and your culture are contagious — so you build them intentionally
  • You know what it costs to run a restaurant and you care about the numbers, not just the vibes
  • You communicate clearly, follow through without being chased, and don't make excuses
  • You want to grow beyond one store — and you're willing to do the work to earn it

Growth & development

We promote from within. Our District Managers came up through operations. As we continue to open and acquire locations across the Gulf Coast, the people who perform at the GM level are the first ones we look to for expanded roles.

If you're looking for a company that will invest in you and give you room to build a real career — not just another job — this is the right fit. We are growing and we want high-caliber people growing with us.

We slice our all-natural* meats and fresh veggies in-house every day. Our fresh-baked bread is made right here where you can see it, and our house-made tuna salad is fresh every day. The flavor of a ripe tomato, crisp shredded lettuce, combined with fresh-baked bread, fresh-sliced meat and real Hellmann's® mayo - that's when the magic happens. Made with love every single day since 1983. That's Jimmy Fresh!
