Complete tasks with minimal supervision. Learn new skills as necessary.
Comfortably with using Microsoft Office software. Have excellent communication skills, attention to details, and be solution oriented. Have a positive professional manner. Uphold FERPA and other confidential matters.
Ability to work 20 hours per week.
Primary Responsibilities
Teach laboratories for Geology courses. Hold office hours, prep labs, teach undergraduate sections of labs, administer lab practicals, and evaluate student outcomes on labs and practicals. Coordinate with a faculty mentor who will guide and direct lab activities. Drive university vehicles on field trips. Monitor the safety of others and practice personal safety; exercise due caution and practice safe work habits at all times.
