  • Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Partner with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, medical professionals, and nurses to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Guide Patients and Families: Educate individuals and their loved ones on therapy methods to ensure ongoing progress in their own environments.
  • Evaluate and Record Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment as necessary to keep patients focused on their recovery paths.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Commitment to ongoing education and post-graduate certifications is welcomed.
Certifications Required
  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
  • NBCOT certification is mandatory.
Essential Attributes
  • A genuine passion for empowering individuals to achieve their greatest level of independence.
  • Exceptional and compassionate communication skills with patients and team members.
  • The ability to innovate and adapt therapy plans to cater to diverse needs.
  • A collaborative spirit, capable of working both independently and as part of a close-knit interdisciplinary team.
Employee Benefits

  • A full-time schedule with flexible working hours.
  • Access to clinical mentorship and professional development resources.
  • Utilization of state-of-the-art tools and facilities.
  • Engagement in quality enhancement and innovative initiatives.

Your Role in Patient Care
As an Occupational Therapist, your work will transcend mere symptom relief; you will nurture routines, restore self-belief, and reignite enthusiasm in life's daily activities. From guiding stroke survivors in refining their fine motor skills to aiding orthopedic patients in reclaiming their mobility post-surgery, your dedication will shine as you offer personalized care that encourages resilience and independence.
This environment thrives on authenticity and humanity. Each patient is not just a case; rather, they are a narrative, and every therapy session becomes a segment of their journey to renewal. In this role, you'll partner intimately with fellow healthcare providers to co-create rehabilitation plans that reflect the unique stories of those you serve.
Why You'll Appreciate This Team and the City
We pride ourselves on cultivating a special workplace culture. Our rehabilitative team does more than simply show up to work; we uplift one another, share our insights, and collectively celebrate every victory, great or small. Here, your input is valued, your personal growth is nurtured, and every day your impact is visible.
And let's not overlook the enchanting setting of Milwaukee. This city is a hidden gem that captivates with its stunning lakefront views, diverse neighborhoods, and a thriving arts and food scene. From the bustling markets to the historic breweries, there's always something fresh to explore. Milwaukee embodies a perfect blend of urban sophistication and rustic charm, promoting a lifestyle that supports indulgence in culture while ensuring room for leisure and connection with nature.
Your Ideal Colleague
We welcome an individual who sees occupational therapy as a heartfelt calling rather than just a career path. You will resonate with joy at each patient's success, whether they're regaining their grasp, reducing their dependence on aids, or finally voice a thought they couldn't express before.
Whether you carry years of experience as an OTR/L or you're a newly minted graduate, what matters most is your capacity to bring compassion, determination, and a humble spirit to the team. If the concept of merging top-notch care with the richness of life resonates with you - consider this your calling.
Join Us in Making a Difference
Your moment to be a part of something significant awaits you. Here, your contributions will shape lives, enhance recoveries, and restore what was lost, all while being situated in a harmonious community known for its balance between ambition and tranquility.
If you are ready to evolve in your professional journey and make a difference in the lives of others within a nurturing community - we are eager to welcome you aboard.
