Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Full-Stack Developer for a consulting assignment with one of our premier clients in Oshkosh, WI.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Full Stack Developer with strong experience in ASP.NET Core and Blazor to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end web applications using the .NET stack. This position requires proficiency in both front-end and back-end development, with a focus on modern, component-based architecture using Blazor WebAssembly or Blazor Server.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using ASP.NET Core and Blazor.
  • Build and optimize interactive and responsive user interfaces with Blazor (Server or WebAssembly).
  • Develop RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end components.
  • Work closely with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Implement database models, queries, and performance optimizations using Entity Framework Core and SQL Server or other RDBMS.
  • Maintain high standards of code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and automated testing.
  • Collaborate in Agile/Scrum development cycles, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications and systems.
  • Stay updated with the latest development tools, trends, and practices in the .NET and Blazor ecosystem.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in full stack web development with ASP.NET Core.
  • Strong experience with Blazor WebAssembly or Blazor Server.
  • Proficiency in C#, Razor, and .NET 6/7/8+.
  • Experience with Entity Framework Core, LINQ, and SQL databases.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
  • Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
  • Good understanding of software architecture patterns (e.g., MVC, MVVM, DDD).
  • Experience with Git and version control workflows.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Azure cloud services, DevOps pipelines, or containerization (Docker).
  • Knowledge of authentication and authorization using ASP.NET Identity, OAuth, or OpenID Connect.
  • Familiarity with SignalR, gRPC, or real-time communication protocols.
  • Experience in integrating third-party APIs or services.
  • Unit and integration testing frameworks like xUnit, NUnit, or bUnit (for Blazor).
  • Prior experience with microservices or distributed systems is a plus.
