NOW HIRING: Confection Production Cook | Paid Training | Primarily Daytime Hours
Looking for a rewarding position where you can learn a unique craft, work with a great team, and create products people love? We'd love to meet you!
Do you love the smell of fresh caramel and the sound of fudge bubbling in a copper kettle? Do you believe work should be fun, rewarding, and full of opportunities to create something people genuinely enjoy? Then come cook up something amazing with us at Kilwins Chocolate Kitchen!
We're looking for a Confection Production Cook to help create the handcrafted fudge, brittles, caramel, chocolate-dipped treats, and other confections that have made Kilwins famous. No culinary degree is required-we'll teach you the Kilwins Way! All you need is a positive attitude, dependability, attention to detail, and a desire to learn.
This position primarily works daytime hours and includes weekends, with occasional evening shifts based on production needs. Applicants must be at least 18 years old to safely operate production equipment, including traditional copper kettles.
What You'll Do
Prepare handcrafted confections using Kilwins' trusted recipes and time-honored production methods.
Cook caramel, fudge, brittles, caramel corn, and other signature products.
Safely operate production equipment, including traditional copper kettles.
Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment.
Assist with packaging, stocking, and other production tasks as needed.
Pitch in wherever needed because great teams help one another succeed.
We're Looking for Someone Who
Is at least 18 years of age.
Is dependable, punctual, and takes pride in producing quality work every day.
Takes pride in learning the craft of making Kilwins' signature confections by hand.
Enjoys working with their hands and creating high-quality products.
Can accurately follow recipes and production procedures.
Is eager to learn new skills and welcomes coaching.
Works well independently, collaborates with teammates, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves to help wherever needed.
Can stand for extended periods and regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
Has a positive attitude and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
