The Assistant Food Service Worker will assist with the overall responsibility of preparing and serving meals to our veteran residents. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the kitchen and cafeteria.
Perform a variety of food preparation duties other than cooking. This position is specific to helping veterans.
Preferred applicants will hold a High School diploma or equivalent, with at least two years of food service experience. Ability to prepare and serve portion-controlled, nutritious meals and maintain cleanliness and inventory is essential. Supervisory experience is preferred. First Aid & CPR certification is required and must be maintained. VOAOHIN will provide certification if not already obtained. Veterans are encouraged to apply.
