Description:
1) Meet with clients regarding price and design of arrangements, bouquets, tablescapes and decor desired.
2) Plan arrangements according to client's requirements, utilizing knowledge of design and properties of materials, or select appropriate standard design pattern
3) Receive floral deliveries- cut, condition, and clean flowers and foliage for storage.
4) Select flora and foliage for arrangements, working with numerous combinations to synthesize and develop new creations.
5) Order and purchase flowers and supplies from wholesalers and growers while keeping within budget allotment
6) Break down florals following events, repurpose materials for day-after events and/or clubhouse use or future events
7) Trim material and arrange bouquets, wreaths, terrariums, and other items using trimmers, shapers, wire, pins, floral tape, foam, and other materials.
8) Perform office duties such as keeping financial records, meeting/communicating with clients
9) Stay abreast of wedding and floral trends
10) Decorate or supervise the decoration of building, halls, churches, or other facilities for parties, weddings, holidays and other occasions.
11) Perform general cleaning duties in the department to ensure the shop is sanitary, clean and tidy.
12) Create and change in-house displays, designs, and looks to enhance the Clubhouse.
13) Conduct classes or demonstrations, as well as train assistant(s).
