MSRC is seeking candidates to support modeling and simulation efforts for the development of Integrated Flight Simulations (IFS) of missile systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • This position will provide simulation analysis and engineering support for a tactical missile system and assist in the development of an Integrated Flight Simulation (IFS). Experience with system simulation and data analysis is required. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is required.
  • Primary duties will consist of developing analysis tools, performing system analysis, executing high fidelity simulations, integrating, and enhancing existing simulation code, performing verification and validation activities, preparing documentation/presentations, and completing pre and post flight analysis on systems tests.

Education:

  • B.S. degree in engineering, computer science, math, physics, or a science related degree is required.
  • M.S. degree is preferred.

Job Qualifications:

  • Mid-level candidates with 4-20 years of experience are preferred.
  • Experience with C/C++, FORTRAN, MATLAB, and Linux is highly desirable. Previous experience with simulation models including: seeker, actuator, propulsion, equations-of-motion, and scene generation is desirable.
  • Knowledge of missile 6DOF simulations, pre/post flight test performance assessments, and simulation verification, validation, and accreditation is also desirable.

Additional Requirements:

  • Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Candidate must currently possess and be able to maintain an active security clearance.
